The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has stated that he expects an intensification of military actions in Ukraine in the next six months, RIA Novosti reports.
"The combat actions will be much stronger, despite the fact that they are already very intense. I could write voluminous books about it. And the pressure on us will be twice or three times stronger, terrible pressure on Kosovo and Metohija," said Vucic on the air of TV Prva.
According to him, 4-5 months ago "it was clear that Ukraine is winning with the huge assistance of the collective West".
"It is not so clear now. The first text of Politico has already been published. Can it happen that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will win?" Vucic said.
According to the President of Serbia, now there is the general position of the collective West on the one hand, and on the other hand, "almost unanimously, the unity of the Russian people after the announced delivery of German tanks [to Ukraine]."
The German government announced at the end of January that it had decided to provide Ukraine with German Leopard 2 tanks. Germany plans to form two tank battalions.
Russia has issued a note of protest to NATO countries for supplying weapons to Ukraine.
