In his visit to Washington, Qatar's Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the latest developments in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) revival negotiations.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Al Thani stated that he discussed the Iran nuclear agreement during the meeting with Blinken, Mehr reported.

"The situation related to nuclear negotiations with Iran is difficult, but diplomatic efforts must continue," the diplomat noted.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also stated that he discussed with Blinken the escalation of the situation on the West Bank and the actions of Israel, as well as the problem of Afghanistan.
