Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular meeting of the Anti-corruption Policy Council of Armenia, in Jermuk city, the PM’s office reports.

First, the current situation of corruption prevention in Armenia and development prospects were addressed.

Next, the discussants reflected on to studies of integrity.

The corruption risk assessment system was discussed, too.

Summarizing, the PM emphasized the importance of providing proper public awareness regarding new programs, systems development, and legislative amendments to be implemented in the anticorruption sector in Armenia.

At the same time, Pashinyan stressed the importance of conducting a proper investigation by the relevant departments regarding the publications of a corrupt nature presented in the press.

The implementation of active public awareness among Armenia’s residents regarding the notification system was also underscored.
