Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Armenian rescuers in Adıyaman who are carrying out search and rescue works in the earthquake zone in Turkey.
As reports Armenpress Ararat Mirzoyan had a short talk with the rescuers and thanked them for their hard and responsible work.
The head of the Armenian rescue squad working in Adiyaman, captain Vahe Gevorgyan talking to the agency stressed that everybody is pleased with the work done by the Armenian rescuers. "Everyone comes up and thanks us. They are also surprised that we came from Armenia, in such cases double gratitude is expressed. We can say that we did an impeccable job because we were able to work effectively with rescuers from other states," Gevorgyan said. He added that they managed to save human lives and there were cases when bodies of victims were pulled out from under the rubble. Captain Gevorgyan said that there were cases when Adiyaman residents of Armenian origin came up to them and thanked them.
