Stand tests of the "Vezdelet" unmanned convertible plane, which will be able to transport up to 50 kilograms of cargo, have started in Russia, naked-science.ru reports.

Now the device is developing an automatic control system and the possibility of taking off and landing in autonomous mode.

By the summer of 2023, the engineers of the manufacturing company M-Industries plan to assemble an experimental sample of this drone, and flight tests are planned for the fall.

The unmanned convertible plane with the function of vertical flight and landing will be able to develop a speed of more than 100 kilometers per hour and stay in the air for at least one and a half hours at an altitude of up to four kilometers.
