Rescuers in Turkey pulled a 12-year-old child from the rubble in southeastern Turkey on February 17 for the 11th day after the devastating earthquake, reports Anatolia News Agency.

The boy named Osman was rescued in the 260th hour of search and rescue efforts.

On February 6, 2023, a series of strong earthquakes struck southeastern Turkey near the border with Syria. Hundreds of aftershocks caused significant damage on both sides of the border, claiming thousands of lives in both countries and damaging or destroying basic infrastructure, including medical facilities.
