Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani criticized the organizers of the Munich Security Conference for inviting a number of "anti-Iranian-minded clowns who have no identity," Tasnim reported.

He also condemned the organizers of the Munich conference for ignoring the Iranian people's support for the Islamic Revolution.

"Those who ignore 44 years of unprecedented presence of an overwhelming majority of Iranians in support of their country, revolution and leadership and invite a number of clowns with no identity (to the Munich conference - ed.) do not believe in democracy and do not know the revolution and the people of Iran," he wrote on Twitter. 

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also warned the country's opponents and opponents that they "will soon have to kneel before the persistence, power and greatness of the Iranian state." 

This year's Munich Security Conference did not invite representatives of Russia and Iran.
