Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes the situation in the South Caucasus needs more attention from the international community due to the existing risks. Pashinyan said this during a discussion on security in South Caucasus at Munich International Conference attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid, Armenpress reports. 

Global stability can improve the situation in the region, because for a long time all international attention is understandably focused on Ukraine, and this creates new risks for the region, he said. It is very important that there is also international attention to the South Caucasus region, because there are a lot of risks there. Armenia is committed to the program of democratic reforms because it believe that democratic reforms, development of democratic institutions, rule of law, human rights, independent judiciary system will improve the situation in the South Caucasus region. It is beneficial for the whole region, and it is very important for Armenia in terms of doing its part, Prime Minister Pashinyan said.
