Polish President Andrzej Duda called on NATO countries to provide post-war security guarantees to Ukraine, he said in an interview with the Financial Times on the eve of US President Joe Biden's visit to Warsaw.

According to Duda, promises of security guarantees would be important for Ukraine and the morale of its soldiers, causing the feeling that NATO supports them.

The Polish president also urged the White House chief to confirm in very strong terms during his visit to Warsaw that the U.S. unconditionally supports Article 5 of the NATO collective defense treaty, according to which any attack on a member state of the alliance is considered an attack on all members of the bloc, writes the Financial Times.
