On February 21, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Stefano Tomat, head of the EU External Action Service, and including Markus Ritter, head of the EU new observer mission to Armenia.

During the meeting, Pashinyan welcomed the decision to deploy the long-term EU civilian observer mission to Armenia and stressed that it will contribute to regional stability and peace process, the press service of the Armenian government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tomat, in turn, thanked the Armenian side for the support provided to the mission, as well as touched upon the works to be carried out in Armenia.

During the meeting there was an exchange of views on the aforementioned mission and cooperation agendas.
