Luxembourg appoints non-resident ambassador to Armenia, the Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn announced it at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
The Minister, who is in Yerevan on an official visit, said he discussed the bilateral agenda and international issues with his Armenian counterpart. Asselborn recalled that last year Armenia and Luxembourg celebrated 30 years of diplomatic relations.
"It was a good opportunity to increase the intensity of relations. We decided to appoint a non-resident ambassador, he will be Alain de Musier," the minister said, adding that the ambassador's father was also a diplomat and Alain de Musier came to Armenia as a child. The minister expressed the wish that the Luxembourg ambassador and Armenia's ambassador to the Netherlands, and Luxembourg at the same time, would contribute to the development of relations.
