The Nakhijevan Separate Combined Arms Army held command-staff exercises.

According to Azerbaijani media reports quoting the AR Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the exercises is to improve the combat skills of headquarters and personnel.

"According to the "Combat Training Plan of the Separate Combined Arms Army for 2023," the formations and military units involved in the exercises were raised on the "Alarm" signal and withdrawn to the exercise areas to bring the troops to different levels of combat readiness. During the next stage of the exercise, operations were planned at command posts, reports were compiled on various styles of action, the tasks of units carrying out practical actions were specified, plans and reports on the organization of unit interaction and their all-round support were developed," the media quoted.
