The Russian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers stressed the need to intensify the work of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation commission, which was set up with the understanding that Russia will provide advisory assistance to that work. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this on Tuesday at his joint news conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in Azerbaijani capital Baku.

"We are ready for that. And we are also ready to assist in the signing of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan. Today we talked about the measures aimed at strengthening peace, security and stability in the South Caucasus; we discussed the issues of the Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization [of relations]," added Lavrov.
