The Russian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers have confirmed their commitment to the mandatory implementation of all provisions of the trilateral statements by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this on Tuesday at his joint news conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in Azerbaijani capital Baku.
"Since November 2020, four statements have already been signed; they form the basis of our joint work," Lavrov said.
According to him, the significance of the rhythmic work of the 3+3 consultative regional platform—comprising the three countries of the South Caucasus as well as Russia, Turkey, and Iran—was pointed out.
"It creates additional opportunities for the establishment of dialogue between the countries of the region and their neighbors and the development of multilateral cooperation," the Russian FM added.
