The meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of Twenty (G20) countries began Thursday in New Delhi, the capital of India.

First, those in attendance observed a minute's silence in memory of those who died in the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

As Deputy Foreign Minister of India Vinay Mohan Kwatra informed earlier, the situation around Ukraine will be one of the topics of the meeting; the FMs will discuss its impact on the world.

First, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock came to the meeting place long before the official part started.

About an hour after her arrival, the other FMs of the G20 countries came to the congress center.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived almost at the same time as the heads of European and UK diplomacy, Josep Borrell and James Cleverly.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was the last to arrive.
