China's Foreign Minister Qin Gang announced that after the meeting between the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Communist Party of China, Qin Gang, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Russia and China reached broad agreements, reported the Telegram channel of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It was reported that the meeting between Lavrov and Qin took place within the framework of the G20 ministerial session. The meeting was the first after the appointment of Qin Gang as the Chinese Foreign Minister.

"Thanks to the strategic management role of our heads of state, our relations continue to develop stably and healthily, showing a positive example of bilateral relations between major powers," the Chinese FM noted.
