From March 13 to 23, the military of South Korea and the United States will conduct the Freedom Shield joint command staff exercises which will be based on computer simulation, Yonhap reported.

The news agency informed that such military exercises will be held continuously this year, and they will turn into longer trainings based on computer simulation.

It was noted that Warrior Shield field maneuvers are also planned, and their objective is to increase the "realism" of joint events. They will mark a return to the large-scale Foal Eagle military exercises that were suspended in 2019.

Also, four days will be devoted to the development of crisis management skills, Yonhap added.
