The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, discussed the matter of intensifying efforts aimed at the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the Russian foreign ministry informed.

"There was an exchange of opinions on regional issues. The urgency of intensifying efforts in all directions of the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was noted, in accordance with the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, January 11, 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022," the statement of the ministry noted.

In addition, the ministry noted that the two FMs discussed the topical issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as clarified the approaches to the development of cooperation on international platforms within the framework of general integration associations.

The talks held in New Delhi were held in a friendly and trusting atmosphere, and the FMs agreed on further diplomatic contacts, the Russian foreign ministry informed.
