Three cases of ceasefire violations were registered in Martuni and Shushi regions; there were no casualties or injuries. This is stated in Friday’s information bulletin of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Russia regarding the activities of the Russian peacekeeping troops in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

According to the facts, the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh is conducting an investigation with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides.

Also, the command of the Russian peacekeepers continues the negotiation process with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides on restoring the unhindered traffic on the Stepanakert-Goris motorway.

In thirty observation posts, Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation around the clock and the observance of the ceasefire.

Four routes were patrolled in Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions and at the Lachin corridor. A convoy carrying humanitarian cargo was accompanied on the Goris-Stepanakert motorway.

In addition, a humanitarian campaign was carried out in order to distribute food packages to disadvantaged and large families of Askeran region.

In order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation is carried out with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
