The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Police publicized photos from the site of today's sabotage by Azerbaijan, and it reported that the Artsakh police officers who were attacked were going from capital Stepanakert to the place of their shift on the road and did not transport weapons.

Three officers of the Artsakh Police were killed and one officer was injured as a result of the targeting of the staff shift car of the Passport and Visa Department of the Artsakh Police by a sabotage group of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces at around 10am today.

The Azerbaijani side presents false facts, claiming that weapons were transported from Armenia to Artsakh in a police vehicle. However, in reality, not only were no weapons being transported, but the police officers were going from Stepanakert to their duty station on the road.

The Azerbaijani sabotage group had ambushed in a wooded area by the road and attacked the aforesaid vehicle from there.

The photos below show the scene of this incident and the damaged empty vehicle.

As a result of the self-defense and restraining actions by the Artsakh police officers and the soldiers of the Artsakh Defense Army in the adjacent position, the Azerbaijani side also had casualties and wounded, and they have been pushed back to their initial positions.
