The command of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh continues the negotiation process with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides on restoring the unhindered movement of automobile transport on the Stepanakert-Goris motorway, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) noted in a report on Sunday.

"Patrols were carried out in Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions along three routes.

“A Russian peacekeeping contingent convoy with humanitarian cargo was accompanied on the Goris-Stepanakert route.

“In general, from November 23, 2020 until today, 2514.6 hectares of land, 689.5 kilometers of roads, 1,940 buildings were cleared of unexploded mines and shells, 26,779 explosive objects were found and neutralized.

“In order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation is maintained with the staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia," the report says.
