Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who is in Armenia on a two-day visit, will leave for Jermuk today to familiarize himself with the border situation created after the military actions of last September, reported the RFE/RL Armenian Service.

According to official sources, after last year's invasion, Azerbaijani troops are 4.5 km away from Jermuk city.

The Armenian Prime Minister's Office did not provide any other details about this visit of the former Secretary General of NATO, informing only that Rasmussen will have a press briefing during the day.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, is now the founding chairman of Rasmussen Global international political consultancy organization.
