YEREVAN. – The important thing for the Armenian side is qualitative, and not quantitative, advantage, Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan said to news reporters, on Wednesday, after the military parade celebrating the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.
Reflecting on the ratio between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, Ohanyan noted that current balance between the two sides is maintained without the intervention of a third side.
“For us the important thing is qualitative, and not quantitative, advantage,” the Minister underscored, reminding that the very same principle also prevailed during years of the Artsakh war.
“For us the important thing is the qualitative indicator, starting from the preparedness of every soldier until coordination of the subdivisions, and also having a military spirit. That is what the soldiers defending our borders are showing today,” Seyran Ohanyan highlighted.
