YEREVAN. – Member of the initiative group Sardarapat Zhirayr Sefilyan delivered a speech for the youth. He said that the main issue for Armenia is to establish political elite and Armenian state. 

“I turn to you with belief that you are the generation to exceed us by patriotism, intellect, and hard work. You should comprehend this.

We, Armenians, failed to form a state during the past 20 years. So-called “Third State” is to be liquidated soon. No need to try to save it. It is better to establish a new state. Armenians should be united as they were in 1988 being united for the idea of Arstakh. I call you to focus on this idea and get united for the idea of building a new Armenian state.

The focus of the Fourth State should be the Armenia-centered idea. We should preserve our identity and build the state based on this feature. I do not mean chauvinism or nationalism. I speak on preserving national independence and development,” the statement reads.
