Six Leopard 2 tanks have left the city of Santander in northern Spain and are on their way to Ukraine, Spanish Minister of Defence Margarita Robles said on Saturday, CNN reports.
Robles told reporters that the tanks left Santander “along with 20 heavy transport vehicles” and should be there in five to six days.
Over the recent months, the United States, Poland, Finland, and the UK, have promised to send tanks to Ukraine.
