YEREVAN.- The attitude of Russian authorities towards Armenia will remain the same as a result of change in power in Russia, said director of Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan.

“I believe that Russia’s foreign policy will not undergo changes,” he told journalists on Tuesday.

Regarding Russian servicemen’s participation in the military parade on Independence Day, the political expert considers it is “a storm in a tea-cup”.

“Participation of foreign military units in a parade is an internationally accepted practice. French, English and Americans, USSR’s allies in World War II participated in Moscow parade in 2010. It is accepted worldwide as another manifestation of friendly relations between the states,” Iskandaryan said.

According to him, the country shows its confidence in victory not only by demonstrating different types of weapons but also by level of friendly relations with other countries.
