At Thursday's cabinet meeting, the government of Armenia decided to amend the law on the 2023 state budget and grant an interstate loan to the government of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The respective amendment envisages providing an interstate loan in the amount of 3.5 billion drams (approx. US$9 million) to Karabakh from the tax revenues of Armenia’s 2023 state budget, as additional funding aimed at alleviating the societal tension in Karabakh in the post-war period.
