The Turkish Ministry of National Defense reported on Friday that a C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft, which was sent to Sudan to evacuate Turkish citizens, was fired at with small arms.
According to the ministry, despite the gunfire, the plane was able to land safely at the Wadi Seidna Air Base, news agency Anadolu reports.
