Approximately half of the respondents in Azerbaijan believe that a peace treaty will be signed with Armenia this year. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Social Research Center of Azerbaijan, Haqqin.az reports.

According to the results of this survey, 42.7 percent of the respondents believe that a peace treaty will be signed with Armenia before the end of the year, whereas 39.1 percent have the opposite opinion.

And 18.2 percent of the respondents found it difficult to express a view in this regard.

The survey was conducted between May 14 and 17 among 384 people over the age of 18, with voluntary participation and anonymity.
