Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Kragujevac, where an extraordinary election meeting of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) is taking place today, Tanjug reports.
He announced that he was leaving the post as the leader of the party, nominating defence minister Milos Vucevic as his successor. His resignation and his replacement must be formally accepted during a closed session of the congress.
