On Sunday, voters in Montenegro are choosing new legislators in early parliamentary elections, The Associated Press reports.

Approximately 542,000 voters will choose from 15 different parties and coalitions ranging from pro-Western to pro-Serbian and pro-Russian.
This is the first parliament in over 30 years that does not include former President Milo Djukanovic, who lost the presidential election back in April.

According to a poll conducted by the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) in May, the Europe Now Movement of Montenegro's current president Jakov Milatovic is leading with 29.1% of the vote.

The poll showed that the pro-European Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), formerly led by Djukanovic, is likely to receive 24.1% of the vote, while pro-Serbian, pro-Russian Democratic Front (DF) may come third with 13.2%.
