The two Indians wounded by the Azerbaijani army shootings at Armenia’s Yeraskh village are currently undergoing surgery. Nairi Sargsyan, former assistant to the Armenian PM, wrote about this on Facebook.
In turn, Ararat city hospital director Arayik Sardaryan informed that the aforesaid Indians have already been operated on, their injuries are not life-threatening, one of them was wounded in the chest, and the other—in the shoulder joint.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia issued a statement noting that at around 11:45am, the Azerbaijani side opened fire at the metallurgical plant being built—with foreign investment—in Yeraskh village in Armenia’s Ararat Province, in the wake of which two foreign citizens were wounded.
