Armenia must show political will to sign a peace treaty between the two countries. This was announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his statement for the press, following his talks with visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in Azerbaijani capital Baku.

"There are prospects for signing a peace treaty with Armenia. For that, Armenia must show political will," Aliyev said.

He noted that "Armenia must confirm on paper what it has officially announced; that is, the fact that Karabakh is Azerbaijan."
