At this moment, it has become impossible to transport even the seriously ill patients from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia’s capital Yerevan. Minister of health Anahit Avanesyan told about this to reporters after Friday’s Cabinet session of the Armenian government.

"You know that over time we are having such serious exacerbations, we try to provide professional medical assistance as much as possible on the spot, through contact with doctors; but this certainly cannot be a solution," Avanesyan said.

"Strictly condemning, I say that obstructing the medical assistance of patients is against all international documents, and it does not fit into any humanitarian principle,” the Armenian health minister added.
