Servicemen of the tank units of Southern Military District's 102nd Military Base in Armenia took part in a planned training on driving in mountainous areas with the development of elements of varying degrees of complexity. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District.
“The crews of the T-72B3 tanks overcame the route with natural and artificial obstacles (anti-tank ditches, minefields, slopes, track bridges), also performed turns and U-turns of varying complexity at the maximum allowable speeds, moving as part of a column at different mountainous areas with a change in the speed limit,” the report says.
To bring the situation closer to combat, various imitation means were used in the training: smoke grenades, explosives and others.
