The Iranian Border Guard has eliminated an armed terrorist group in southeastern Iran, Colonel Reza Shojaei, Border Guard Commander of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, said on Sunday, Mehr reports.

Shojaei said Iran's border guards prevented the armed terrorist group from entering the country by ambushing and trapping them. 

He noted that one of the terrorists was killed and several others were wounded during an armed clash between the Iranian forces and the group.
