The UK said on Sunday it would expand its program to help Ukraine cyber-defend as it launches a counteroffensive against Russia, Reuters reports.

In the announcement, the British government said it would provide 16 million pounds ($20.5 million) in funding with "potential for a further £9 million contribution from international allies."

London said the package would allow Ukraine to be better armed to protect "critical national infrastructure from crippling Russian attacks."
