We are simultaneously in the second and third phases of designing the new Ajapnyak district subway station. Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated this during Monday’s regular procedural session at Yerevan city hall.

He reflected also on the construction of a new subway station in the Surmalu market area.

"We shall soon announce the construction project of a new station near Surmalu. Its technical task, I assume is ready. Let's specify a separate instruction regarding the purchase procedure," Avinyan said.
