YEREVAN. - Armenian military vehicle was involved in an accident in Armavir region, as a result of which a soldier died.

On October 3 at around 6.00 p.m. in Baghramyan training center a military machine hit an embankment on the road side and fell off the road.

Six soldiers were taken to Armavir hospital with different physical injuries. However, later 21-year-old soldier Hayk Davtyan died in Armavir hospital, the other soldiers were taken to the central clinical hospital of the Ministry of Defense. A criminal case has been initiated according to Article 377, Part 2 of Criminal Code. The officer Hamlet Virabyan has been arrested. Investigation is in progress.
