The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, with the consent of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, held negotiations with the head of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin throughout the day, as a result of which it became known that Prigozhin agreed to stop the advance on the territory of Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Press Service of the President of Belarus.
Prigozhin accepted Lukashenko's proposal to stop the Wagner advance on Russian territory and take further steps to ease tensions.
Lukashenko's press service reported that at the moment there is a draft of an acceptable version of the settlement of the situation with PMC Wagner with guarantees of the safety of its fighters.
