A firefighter and a child died as a result of a fire that broke out in a residential building in Korolyov city near Moscow, reports TASS, citing a source of the emergency services.

Both died as a result of jumping from the aforesaid building, the source informs.

The cause of this fire could be arson, according to the prosecutor's office of the Moscow Region.

Ten people were evacuated from this building, and the fire is localized in the area of 40 square meters, RIA Novosti reports.

The press service of the main department of the Moscow Region of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations informed TASS that the report about this fire was received at 9:13pm local time.
