The armed forces of Azerbaijan opened fire, from a mortar, in the direction of two Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) villages, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense (MoD) informed.

At around 8:05pm Tuesday, after disseminating disinformation about the wounding of an Azerbaijani serviceman allegedly from the shot fired by the Armenian side, the armed forces of Azerbaijan continued to violate the ceasefire in the direction of the Martakert region of Artsakh.

At around 9pm, they fired two mortar shots towards Kichan village, and at around 9:30pm—one mortar shot in the direction of Chankatagh village.

The Armenian side has no losses.

This ceasefire violation was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh.
