Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Minister of State Gurgen Nersisyan attended Friday’s funeral of servicemen Armen Abgaryan and Gagik Balayan, residents of Gishi village in the Martuni Region of Artsakh, who died as a result of the terrorist operation of the Azerbaijani armed forces, and conveyed the condolences of the Artsakh authorities to the relatives of these victims and the residents of Gishi. Nersisyan wrote about this on Facebook page.

"The [Artsakh] Government continues negotiations with the ICRC Stepanakert office to transfer the bodies of [other two Artsakh soldiers] Samvel Torosyan and Yervand Tadevosyan, who fell victims to the [aforesaid] Azerbaijani aggression, to the RA [(Republic of Armenia)], at the request of their relatives.

"The self-sacrifice of A. Abgaryan, G. Balayan, S. Torosyan, and Y. Tadevosyan will not be forgotten, and their families will be under the care and protection of the [Artsakh] state and the public," the message of Artsakh Minister of State added.
