An explosion occurred at a chemical plant in China's southeastern province of Jiangxi at noon local time on Saturday, Reuters reports, citing Chinese state media.
Authorities are trying to determine the extent of possible casualties, the state media said.
An employee who answered a phone call at the company told Reuters that there were no casualties.
