North Korea has no intention to "examine" South Korean Hyundai Motor head's plans to visit North Korean Mount Kumgang, the country's foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday, Reuters reports.

"The policy of the DPRK government is such that any representative of South Korea cannot be allowed to enter its territory," the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jong-un wanted to visit North Korea in August.
