Armenia looks forward to cooperating with Spain, which has assumed the presidency of the EU Council, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ani Badalyan wrote in her microblog on Twitter.
“As Spain is assuming Presidency of EU Council, we look forward to enhancing the common agenda aimed at deepening of our already close partnership with EU, contributing to regional stability & sustainable development, [as well as] strengthening Armenia-Spain bilateral cooperation to achieve those goals,” she said.
Spain, which has taken over the Presidency of the Council of the EU, has announced that it will organize the 3rd summit of the European Political Community, which will be held on 5 October in Granada.
The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, announced that Pashinyan-Michel-Aliyev trilateral meeting will be held in October in the Spanish city of Granada.
