Employees of emergency services and the acting police commissioner arrived in Baltimore city in the American state of Maryland early Sunday morning on the occasion of a mass shooting, The Associated Press reports, citing police.

The Baltimore Police Department confirmed that a mass shooting occurred in the 800 block of Gretna Court and as many as 30 people were shot overnight in Brooklyn.
According to witnesses, hundreds of people gathered in the area for an event called "Brooklyn Day."
