Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić believes that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti plans to put pressure on Kosovo Serbs on the eve of the NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12. At the same time, according to Vučić, Ukraine will intensify its counteroffensive, Kommersant reports.

“I really expect a strong Ukrainian offensive in two directions, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow an additional offensive by Ukraine will begin, which means an additional offensive against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija,” Aleksandar Vučić said on Serbian television.

According to him, the Ukrainian authorities will try to show the successes of the Ukrainian army before the summit. “This is important for them before the summit in Vilnius. They expect to receive an “open ticket” for membership in NATO, and they are sure that they can do this with a big offensive and a strike against Russian forces,” the Serbian president believes.

“I think that they have prepared several dozen brigades and will break through the Russian defenses in that part [Bakhmut, Enerhodar, Melitopol]. I don’t “root” for anyone, but I think that this will happen, of course, with huge sacrifices,” he added.
