Kidnapped Armenian servicemen Harutyun Hovakimyan and Karen Ghazaryan have been forced to give "necessary" statements in Azerbaijan.

As we already informed, these abducted Armenian soldiers are speedily being tried in Azerbaijan. Their court trial is taking place in Sumgait city, and they are accused under a number of Azerbaijani Criminal Code articles.

But judging by the respective reports by the Azerbaijani media, these Armenian servicemen were forced to make statements, the meaning of which comes down to the fact that they "do not consider Azerbaijan a hostile country" and "repent for what they did."

The next court hearing in this case is scheduled for Wednesday.

These Armenian soldiers were abducted by an Azerbaijani sabotage team that invaded the territory of Armenia in May.
