We should be ready for all scenarios. We need to understand that we have an issue, as a result of it we will suffer hardships, we will have problems, but we must overcome. President Arayik Harutyunyan stated this on Monday at the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

"If Coca-Cola and beer and free entry and exit are important for us... what are we waiting for? We have had harder times and we have overcome them. It will depend on what our degree of resistance will be. I classify those who rank Coca-Cola higher than our struggle in the same panic-inducing group. This is not a struggle of 10 days, 1-2 months; we must understand and assess its seriousness. Yes, it is possible in the state administration system and some products have not been accumulated in sufficient quantity. Enough work has been done so that the country does not starve, that we have enormous reserves. Surely our local products will enable us to fight for a long time and not succumb to the pressures existing today. After six days, they say that there will be a riot, the people will come and say, ‘What is this?’ Well, there will be a riot; go, surrender to Azerbaijan," said Harutyunyan.

Also, the Artsakh President reflected on the prospects for dialogue with Azerbaijan.

"We have to go to Baku. Now the opinion: why not go to Baku? Because Baku is discussing only one topic with us today: integration. It does not discuss the second topic. They say: ‘let's go, convince Azerbaijan.’ I have tried for two years. If anyone finds that I was a bad negotiator, in the last phase I didn't negotiate, I didn't go. They don’t give results because at the end [they] come, say, ‘this is our agenda.’ Azerbaijan says the first point to sit on the [negotiating] table is to disband the [Artsakh] Defense Army. Well go disband and then go to the meeting. Let me say the sequence: we go announce that we are disbanding the army, we are dissolving the public administration system [of Artsakh], we are barely creating a mechanism for community elections, after which they will give the [natural] gas, give the electricity, and let us go and come on the [Lachin] road. It is already clear who they will allow; they will allow as citizens of Azerbaijan already. We have two things to do: increase self-defense and resistance," emphasized the Artsakh president.
